01 What Is Mobile Tyre-Fitting? ↓
Mobile tyre fitting is exactly what it sounds like: a professional tyre replacement service that comes to you, wherever you are, rather than making you limp to a garage on a damaged tyre. Whether you're at home, at work, or stuck at the roadside, we bring the equipment to your location and get you back on the road fast. It's available 24 hours a day, seven days a week, because tyres don't blow out on a schedule.
02 How Long Does Mobile Tyre-Fitting Take? ↓
Most mobile tyre fitting jobs are done in under an hour. The exact time depends on the tyre size, wheel type, and how much space we have to work with around the vehicle. In straightforward cases you'll be back on the road well within that. More complex jobs, or multiple tyres, can take a little longer, but we'll always give you a realistic timeframe when you call.
03 Can Mobile Tyre Fitters Do Tracking? ↓
Yes. Our vans carry up-to-date tracking equipment as standard, so we can check and adjust your wheel alignment at the same time as your tyre fitting. It's worth doing whenever new tyres go on, because poor tracking accelerates tyre wear and affects handling. One thing to note: our tracking machine requires recalibration every 200 uses to maintain accuracy, so if calibration is a concern, just ask us when you book.
04 Can I Get My Wheels Balanced? ↓
Yes, wheel balancing is included as standard with every tyre fitting we carry out. There's no need to make a separate trip to a garage. Unbalanced wheels cause vibration through the steering wheel and uneven tyre wear, so we make sure it's done properly every time before we leave your location.
05 Is mobile tyre-fitting available in
my area?↓
We cover the whole of Hertfordshire and significant parts of North London. If you're unsure whether you're within our service area, give us a call and we'll confirm straight away. We carry a wide range of tyres from leading manufacturers including Michelin, Dunlop, Continental, and Pirelli, with prices starting from £100 per tyre, fitted.
06 What's included in the tyre-fitting
price?↓
Everything you'd expect and a bit more besides. When Olympus comes to you, the price covers the tyre itself, fitting, new valves, wheel balancing, and disposal of your old tyres. No hidden extras, no add-ons at the end. What we quote is what you pay.
07 Do You Offer a No-Fix, No-Fee Guarantee?↓
Yes, and we mean it. If for any reason we can't fit your tyre, you don't pay a penny. There's no call-out charge, no administration fee, and no awkward conversation about what you owe us for turning up. You only pay when you're back on the road with the right tyres on your vehicle. That's what a genuinely no-risk service looks like.
08 What Tyre Brands Do You Carry?↓
We stock tyres from some of the world's leading manufacturers, including Goodyear, Dunlop, Toyo, and Sava, alongside a range of budget-friendly options for drivers who want reliable performance without the premium price tag. Budget tyres start from £100 fitted for cars, and £120 for vans and caravans. If you have a preference for a specific brand or compound, let us know when you call and we'll do our best to accommodate you.
09 Can You Remove a Locking Wheel Nut?↓
Yes, and it's one of the things we're particularly good at. Locking wheel nuts are designed to be difficult to remove, which is fine until you lose the key or need a tyre change at the roadside. Our technicians carry specialist equipment capable of removing any type of locking wheel nut without damaging or scuffing your alloys. In ten years of doing this, no locking wheel nut has beaten us yet.
10 Do You Fit Tyres on Caravans and Campervans?↓
We do. We fit tyres on any vehicle up to 3.5 tonnes, which covers the vast majority of caravans and campervans on the road. If you're touring and pick up a puncture or a blowout, the last thing you want is to be stuck at the side of the road waiting for a solution that may never come. Call us and we'll get to you as quickly as we can, so you can get back to the trip you were on.
11 Should I Choose Soft or Hard Compound Tyres?↓
It depends on how and where you drive. Softer compounds deliver better grip, which is why they're favoured for performance driving, but they wear faster and need replacing more often. Harder compounds last significantly longer, with some rated to 60,000 kilometres, making them a more cost-effective choice for everyday driving. Most drivers on UK roads are well served by a quality all-season tyre, which balances grip, longevity, and performance across a range of conditions. When you call us, we'll ask the right questions and point you in the right direction.
12 How Do I Book a Mobile Tyre Fitting Appointment?↓
Phone us on 07411 448680 or send us a WhatsApp message and we'll get back to you straight away. Tell us where you are, what vehicle you're driving, and whether you know your tyre size, and we'll take it from there. We cover all of Hertfordshire and significant parts of North London, seven days a week, around the clock. No online booking forms, no waiting for a callback window. Just call, and we'll come to you.
